Tony Yoon is a Washington D.C.–based cinematographer, director, and producer specializing in music, performance, and narrative storytelling. His work spans live performances, digital programming, commercials, documentaries, and artist-focused content.

Tony was formerly a Senior Filmmaker at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, leading video production across marketing campaigns, digital programs, and live events. There, he produced and directed projects ranging from award-winning mini-documentaries like Reframing the Narrative to nationwide campaigns such as Thank an Arts Teacherwith Ariana DeBose. He also oversaw creative and technical production for marquee events, including the Kennedy Center Honors (EPK) and the Mark Twain Prize (EPK and in-show BTS).

At House Studios, a start-up media company, he developed and produced video series focused on community engagement and artistic storytelling, including Live at House and Meet the Creatives, reaching over a million viewers from a zero-subscriber base. Currently, Tony works as an independent cinematographer and producer, collaborating with leading agencies and brands, including Hudson Rouge and Lincoln; Grammy-winning artists such as Jacob Collier and Mac Ayres; and nonprofit organizations like the German Marshall Fund.

Tony approaches each project with a focus on storytelling, collaboration, and technical craft, combining hands-on experience in camera, lighting, audio, and post-production to bring creative visions to life.
